About the role
We are looking for a full time/part-time private client advisor to join our expanding team. The role is to specifically take on a caseload of Trust and Court of protection files and if full time, there will be capacity for some probate files too.Â
As a company we specialise in Wills and Probate Law and so there is opportunity for the right individual to grow this department in the future. It is essential that our customers receive a 5* service and are dealt with empathetically as they are usually going through a very difficult time of their lives.
Examples of what you will be doing:
- Managing own caseload of trust files completing regular reviews and trustee meetings and ensuring trust assets are managed appropriately to satisfy our Trustee duties.Â
- Dealing with both taxable and non-taxable trusts and liaising with HMRC and accountants where necessary.Â
- Managing own caseload of Court of Protection and active Attorney files where the firm are appointed as professional deputies/attorneys.Â
- Regular communications with our clients (or their family where client lacks capacity) to make best interest decisions.Â
- Working with the team to develop the department’s processes and procedures
Experience you will have:
- We will consider applicants who have at least 2 years’ experience working within a private client department and specifically working on Trust and Court of Protection matters. Qualified solicitors, legal executives and paralegals will all be considered
Salary Package
Competitive salary dependant on experience, a bonus structure based on individual performance and company pension.
