We are looking for an experienced, Diploma level 4+ CAS status wealth planner is required for a wealth management company. This role will also have the SMF16 compliance monitoring oversight approved persons function with the FCA. This is a hands-on role in an agile environment. Full remote/ work from home, with flex needed for clients who want face to face meetings.

Location: Wyvern Business Park, Derby, DE21 6BF

Remote working: Yes

Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent

Basic Salary: £60,000 – £75,000

On target bonus: £35 – uncapped

Other: Company pension scheme with employer contribution

Other: 22 days holiday increasing with service

Key Responsibilities

    • Establishing and maintaining client relationships to build up a long-term client book in a competent, compliant and professional manner
    • Accountability for the compliance oversight FCA function, with extremely robust support from a third party compliance consultant
    • Deliver the end-to-end sales process.
    • Conduct fact find meetings with prospective customers
    • Prepare sound financial plans to ensure clients meet their financial goals
    • Customise financial plans according to clients’ changing needs
    • Deliver outstanding customer service and satisfaction
    • Client retention via annual reviews
    • Generate new business and build introducer relationships through self generated referrals
    • Deliver impeccable levels of personal and professional integrity, updating knowledge of regulations, practices and financial products
    • Manage your own diary

Key Attributes

    • 3 years minimum history of providing financial advice across investments, pensions and protection
    • Diploma level 4 qualified or above
    • CAS and Current Statement of Professional Standing
    • Performance hungry, driven and motivated individual, delivering strong quality measures
    • Strong knowledge of compliance and what it means to deliver an exceptional customer outcome
    • Willing to upskill compliance knowledge to effectively perform the SMF16
    • A positive, optimistic individual who will thrive and support others in a new start up environment and be adaptable to a changing environment
    • Comfortable working cross functionally and collaboratively to drive growth and efficiencies
    • Track record in retaining and growing portfolios of business within financial services
    • Able and willing to travel to clients – where required
